Members of the medical profession holding a post-graduate medical qualification in Dermatology will be eligible for enrolment as Life Members of the Association. Intending members have to subscribe in writing to the objectives of the Association and submit an application for membership duly proposed by an existing Member of IADVL / CODFI.

Members of the medical profession with registerable qualifications with the Medical Council of India (but without a post graduate qualification in Dermatology) may enroll as Associate Members of CODFI. Associate Members will not be eligible to vote and will not be able to serve on the Executive Committee, but would enjoy the other privileges of the Association.

Overseas professionals with post-graduate qualifications may be enrolled as Overseas Members at the discretion of the executive committee. Overseas members will not be eligible to vote or serve on the Executive Committee, but would enjoy the other privileges of membership of CODFI.

Leading personalities in India or abroad in the field of Dermatology and allied disciplines may be accepted as Honorary Members at the discretion of the executive committee. Honorary Members shall not be eligible to vote or serve on the Executive Committee but would enjoy the other privileges of Membership of CODFI.

Pharmaceutical companies and business houses with interest in pharmaceutical and allied industries shall be eligible to be elected as Corporate Members of CODFI. The duration of membership shall be for such period as decided by the Secretary cum Treasurer from time to time. No representative of the Company will be eligible to serve on the Executive Committee or have any voting rights, but would enjoy the other privileges of the Association.

All eligible individuals intending to be Life/Associate Members of CODFI shall apply to the Secretary, CODFI on a prescribed form, with their membership duly seconded by existing Life Members of IADVL / CODFI. The Secretary CODFI shall place such applications before the Executive Committee, for approval and admission to membership.

CODFI represented through its Executive Committee shall have the absolute right to determine the admission of any person as Member thereto. It may in its discretion, accept or reject any nomination or application for Membership without assigning any reason.
