Dear friends,

Contact and Occupational Dermatoses Forum of India (CODFI) now enters into its 15th year of existence. I, on behalf of the new executive and my own thank you all for posing your confidence in us and giving us the opportunity to serve the Forum.

CODFI has a great history with eminent academicians of national and international repute having been its presidents. They have contributed immensely to bring CODFI to its present level. CODFI has now grown to more than a hundred members from a select group of experts since its inception in 1993 and I invite all the dermatologists across the country to join the Forum.

Indian Standard Series developed under the supervision and guidance of CODFI is widely used and appreciated by the experts working in the field of contact dermatitis. The issue of erratic availability of antigens is being addressed and would be sorted out soon. We now have a regular biennial national conference and an annual workshop to share, exchange and update our knowledge in the field of contact and occupational dermatoses. CODFI fellowships are being streamlined with fixed time frame for applications and selection. The selected persons can apply and join the respective institutions on time.

CODFI website would be regularly updated for continued influx of information to our members about the activities of the CODFI, other related events and newer developments in the field of contact dermatitis. We have a dynamic team to make CODFI a more vibrant and academically rich Forum. On behalf of the executive, I assure you that we would continue to enhance the academic and scientific activities of the Forum and further the interest of CODFI. I am sure that with your active support we would make CODFI a more attractive and scientifically rich organization.
